1/10th of an Emmy

Tonight I attended the Mid-America Emmys where my company was nominated in four different categories. We ended up winning three of the four including “Community/Public Service (PSAs)” for our St. Louis International Film Festival promo that I helped make. In fact, 10 of us had a hand in creating the various scenes in the video… hence the name:

Mike Rohlfing + Mike Kuhn + John Dames + Kevin Johnson + Brent Johnson + David Johnson + Tim Latham + Patrick Vaughan + Jason Stamp + Pete Halliday = Michael John LaVaumpiday (yes, he has a Facebook page)

Fortunately all of our categories were right at the beginning, so we were able to escape the dozens of local news awards and head over to a neighboring casino… statues in hand.
