Hosted by photojournalist and “explorer, eater and drinker” Matt Hranek, Alternate Route is a 6-episode travel show produced for Esquire Network by Coolfire Studios in 2013. After shooting and editing the Pilot episode, I was asked to be DP on the series. We traveled to six American cities over two months and filmed everything from fly fishing to blue jean production to race car driving.
